TAMASHA - wastage of money and time - Dont watch

Such a waste of time , money , actors and combined efforts. Possibly the production and distributors could have made money but its a lost movie. Imtiaz Ali again like Rockstar made a bad movie. Concept was good but presented in one of the most surprising and boring way. Acting of Ranbir and Deepika was good but viewers start to get bore since first 10 minutes of the movie and continuously they get bore till end of the movie. South of France could not make movie beautiful.

Please do not see the movie if you really want to see a good movie. DialogAlues are useless, Wastage of effort of Piyush Mishra, Sushma Seth... roles were not good. Vivek Mushran looks helpless. Imtiaz Ali's experiment got failed.

Now, Rahman.... this person is also feeling intolerance. Not a single song was good. Even in Cinemahall , people were feeling bore. None of the songs can be remembered for a long time , not even for a short period of time. Imtiaz Ali took the advantage of Ranveer and Deepika's chemistry and put kissing scenes in whole sale

Full movie was nautanki and dialogues were given in singing pattern but boring. Story was useless, uselss comedy... Imtiaz Ali needs to sharpen his blade again.

Wait for Airlift .... Saw the trailer.

Guddu Rangeela !! One time watch movie

Now a day , story of Hindi Movies move around a particular event and it is not a prolonged story as it used to be. I am not writing a movie review of Guddu Rangeela , but trying  to write interesting things , character , message of the movie and acting of characters. Have a look :

  • Ronit Roy is a rock solid character. He is a Bengali but looks great in a Jaat role. He was a hero in early 90s but he could not come as powerful as 23 years later. He still looks young, attractive and fully confident. Thanks to sas bahu serials on TV
  • Aditi Rao Hydari , as usual , loose link. Not effective , not effective role nor good acting
  • Arshad Warsi .... really a good actor. Fun, seriousness, effective. He is one of the most suited person for such role as already we have witnessed in Munnabhai movies , Ishqiya, Jolly LLB etc.
  • The movie gives a strong message against honour killing and have exposed a few north Indian states in which honour killing is a burning issue.
  • Politicians , Police are effectively shown as corrupt
  • The Haryanvi tones of goons, policemen, Guddu and others make people laughing
  • The movie is a mix of Comedy , social issues and cut throat corruption
The Antakshari with a policemen, his advise to eat bananas for Guddu, his conversation with inspector have added some more comedy scenes which are quite interesting to watch. On the other hand, kidnapping of Aditi Rao, fight with Ronit Roy and gang, addressing social issues during khap panchayat were not very effective. In the movie, the Villain ( Ronit Roy ) could not be exposed among people and reaction of people was not shown in the movie. Perhaps , we people could see how does politicians react if they are exposed due their sexual affairs. The lady CM was a weak character, while the chief of political party could be more effective in his role.

Directors and producers seem to be in hurry to complete the movie. Neither they pay more attention on chosing characters, nor in dialogues nor in scene selection. The song " Kal Raat Mata ka..." seemed to be incomplete and could not be capitalised by movie makers. Conversations with a heroine like " Degi ??" or " Le gi ?"" seemed to be cheap for a hero and heroine.

Its a one time interesting to watch movie...

Tanu weds Manu returns

Yesterday, watched Tanu Weds Manu Returns. Double role of an actress was seen after long years in Bollywood. Director seems to have encashed the acting of Kangana. Neither Haryanvi nor Kanpuri accent of the both the roles were perfect. It was only a good try. Good hindi movie for Maddy and other casts. The role of Jimmy Shergil was perfect. A one time entertaining comedy.

10 underreated bollywood actors who deserved fame !!

I was thinking to prepare a list of underrated Bollywood actors who deserved a lot of fame , but today I saw a blog on it. I agree with the list except Rajpal Yadav. He got a lot of fame and fortune in last 10 years. He earned a lot of money and got highest number of movies among these top 10 underrated actors.

The person who has written the blog is sensible and have thought correctly . thanks for the blog . Please find the link below

http://in.askmen.com/entertainment/1107948/article/10-underrated-bollywood-actors-who-deserved-fame-m?utm_source=taboola&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=askmen_traffic&utm_term=rediff

These actors are

1. Binay Pathak
2. Sanjay Mishra
3. Nawazuddin Siddiqui
4. Ronit Roy
5. Vijay Raaz
6. Rajpal Yadav
7. Saurabh Shukla
8. Rajkumar Rao
9. Sushant Singh
10. Ranveer Shorey

These actors are highly talented and they are schools of acting. If you see " Johny LLB" , just see the acting of Saurabh Shukla.. he faded the acting of Boman Irani. Just see his style of eating ... classic... its not easy to deliver dialogue while eating. The director must have watched his acting while eating the movie " Dus Vidaniyaan" in which Saurabh Shukla and Vinay Pathak worked together. For Nawazuddin Siddiqui , the star has started to shine and his fate is similar to Irfaan Khan who was highly underrated but now fate is doing justice with him. Rajkumar Rao has yet to show his talent like Ranveer Shorey , Sushant Singh etc. One name I would like to include in this list is " Piyush Mishra" who worked in Gangs of Wasseypur and Gulal.

BABY- a Good Movie of Akshay Kumar

After Special 26, Baby is a must watch movie of Akshay Kumar. The movie may not be popular in Pakistan and it may touch every Indian. The movie is focussing on active terror groups of Pakistan in India and the objective of the movie is similar to another movie "D-Day" . In both the movies Indian intelligence wants terrorist head to be huddled back to India. Akshay Kumar's role is quite robotic and without much acting was needed in that role but looks good on him. The chemistry of Akshay and Anupam Kher is again reunited in this movie in operation. In Special 26 they were co-thieves , here both of them are colleagues in Indian Intelligence. According to this movie people of India desperately wants Indian government to bring Lakhavi , Moulana Masood back to India.
Like Special 26, D-Day ... the role of heroines are negligible. Now a days movies on Indian Commandos active in different countries are coming out , now and then.. Ek Tha Tiger, D-Day, Baby, Bang Bang, Agent Vinod etc . Whatever, Baby is an entertaining movie, use of technology, Akshay Kumar as Commando, Patriotism, Danny , Little Comedy etc.. make the movie totally entertaining !!

Old Hindi film Songs - Available on TV

For last five years, Television has been so kind to telecast programmes devoted to old Hindi Film Songs. The prime time , when Arnab Goswami starts its daily shown on Times Now taking 5 to 6 people at the same time , speaks at high voice , does not let others to speak , at the same time Annu Kapoor starts its programme " Golden Era with Annu Kapoor" on Masti TV. What a difference once can feel , Arnab creates tension, his debate goes meaning less at the end of his show, nodbody is benefitted because we all listen his own views to the extent of 90 % during the show, while we feel relaxed smile after seeing 9X Jalwa for one hour during 9 to 10 PM and Raina Beeti Jaaye at Sony Mix. Also at the same time , one of the early starters of such programme is B4U Music. All these four channels telecast old hindi film songs. Annu Kapoor remind old times with his own style, he opens pages of history most of which were unheard and unseen while other three channels do not take help of a coordinator while they just flash old hindi songs one after another

These four songs remind the golden period of hindi songs in India. One can see young Shashi Kapoor, Naughty Jaya Bhaduri, Energetic Jeetendra , lovely Asha Parikh, Dilip Kumar with full of Gravity then full of joy Vaijayanti Mala .... and many others.........

Enjoy these shows and try to show one or more songs to younger members of the family instead of self destructive soaps and serials !!

Good Hindi Movies but surprisingly Flopped !!

Even the best directors of Hindi cinema, most of the times, fail to understand the mood of Indians. They make good movie but due to nature of story ahead of time, sentiments of people or failure on promotional front , the  movie does not work. 4. Raakh
5. Run
6. Shaan
7. Guide
8. Kabhi Kabhi
9. Rehna Hai Tere Dil mein
10. Teesri Kasam
11. Prem Pujari
12. Lamhe

Hindi Movies on Similar Lines of Hollywood Movies

Time and again Indian directors and producers are alleged to copy Hollywood scripts for desi version of their movies. Most of the times, Indian directors and producers deny about such talks. Hollywood movies are so popular in India, it is hard for Indian directors and producers , story writers to escape from such allegations. Hence now they themselves tell that their story is inspired from such and such movies. Some of the movies which have been copied from Hollywood are :

1. Bang Bang - Knight and Day
2. Dharmatma - The Godfather
3. Sarkar - The Godfather
4. Sarkar Raaj - The Godfather Part II
5. Ladies Vs. Ricky Behl - John Tucker Must die
6. Pehla Pehla Pyar - Roman Holiday
7. Daulat Ki Jang - Meckenna's God
8. Baadshah - Nick of Time
9. Superman - Superman

Aiswariya in Cannes !!

Its perhaps a mandatory routine for Aiswariya Rai to visit France for Cannes film festival. Indian media always show her daily photographs during such festival. In India such type of festival do not take place ,so she is not seen as being photographed in new designed dresses. Its a good publicity platform for her to attract Indian directors and show them " Abhi to mai jawan hoon ". Their media also pays attention , obviously whoever walks on the red carpet will be photographed and perhaps other Hollywood heroines must have so many number of photographs but Indian media show only the photographs of Aiswariay , Sonam Kapoor, Mallika , Anupam Kher on daily basis. Indians will think that Aiswariya is being respected there and getting full media attention. But on the contrary, we do not see her photographs with any high profile hero of Hollywood these days , neither George Clooney , nor Russel Crowe , nor Gerrard Butler nor Brad Pitt and not also with Tom Cruise....yesterday her photograph was with Eva Longoria  :):):) ...She is at Cannes and Abhishek bhai was watching Mumbai Indians Vs. CSK with his father. He also went with her once, but he understands its better to be at home rather than ignored by Media in front of his wife.  Lets hope to see her more good photographs with some real celebrity of Hollywood !!

New Benchmark to declare a movie hit !!

The best benchmark to check if a movie is a hit or flop is  , how long the movie could manage to be on screen in cinema halls. We hear that Ashok Kumar's " Kismat " continued for years in Roxy of Kolkata, Dilwale Dulhaniya has broken all the records by its continuous presence in Maratha Mandir of Mumbai. We used make line to get a ticket from theatre's window. Sometimes , we all had to pay extra money to grab a ticket. Those days are gone.
Now , whether a movie is a hit is identified by the count of millions earned in the initial weeks of the opening. Now movies are not fixed assets like " Mughal E Azam ", " Sangam " , " Anand " or " Sholay " , all movies are now " Terminable Ventures ".  People could not get the statistics of the earnings of movies in yesteryears but now we get everyday figures of earning. Youngsters go to watch movies just by hearing the earnings of the movies. All figures are unaudited, unauthenticated, god knows who counted it and how these figures are reliable !! Till you reach up to truth , the movies are out of cinema halls. Directors Producers also know , they are creating something for a very short term. Neither hindi songs are durable nor their stories are remembered for a long time. Awards are given to everybody. Songs lost melody, instrumentation has replaced the melody , Lyrics lost gravity ...everything is for short term ............  All these short term things are eating the craze for cinema among people .........ultimately these things put question mark on the sustainability of the movie business. Its high time !!

Vengeance in Indian Movies

Violence and Vengeance were quite common in Indian movies. Now a days such types of movies are rare. Now fight scenes are not given much importance. 5. Naagin - ( Vengeance of a Snake Woman against the killers of her male Snake )

6. Teri Meharbaaniyaan - Vengeance of a Dog against a few persons who killed master of the Dog
