Trikon Ka Chautha Kon - Some observations

Trikon Ka Chautha Kon ( 4th Angle of a Triangle)  is an early 80s Hindi contemporary movie. The movie extracts an issue of love with a woman other than the wife (extra marital affair). But the movie did not indicate any physical relationship with the girl friend.

The movie is starred by Vijyendra Ghatge (Prakash) , Swaroop Sampat (Manisha) and a Priyadarshini (Uma) .
Vijyendra met with an NRI girl in Mumbai and on the streets of Delhi . He dared to talk to her and both of them started to spend time together. But suddenly the girl went to Uganda back without leaving a message and address. Prakash got surprised and saddened. His widow mother insisted to marry Uma who always wanted to marry Vijyendra but he does not love her. After sometimes, he finally  agreed to marry her  mother's repetitive requests. Initially he could not love his wife but slowly he started to respect and love his wife but suddenly just after 5 years of his marriage Manishat came back in his life. She informed that she left a message to a hotel staff which Prakash never got. They started to meet again candidly but after some times, Prakash informed her that he is married and had a daughter. Manisha attempted to commit suicide but saved.  Both the girl friend and wife were introduced and they became friend. Prakash did not want to leave any of them but got saddened and upset with the order of the god. He had no solution

Seeing the condition of her husband Uma  ,she also felt guilt of creating indirect pressure through Prakash's demised mother for marriage. She hold her responsible  for sadness of her husband. Manisha , seeing no solution,  wanted to go out of the life of couple. Prakash informed truth to his wife about her short affair with Manisha

There was nothing in the movie. But the end was very unique and surprising. It was Uma who was convincing Swaroop Sampat to share her husband with Swaroop Sampat and the movie finished.

In India, this was a peculiar end and does not appear. In Yash Chopra movie, the other woman has to compromise and upholding the marriage killing her own emotions. Unusually, the heart of Uma was shown very big and the girl friend is seen convincing with the offer of Uma.

The movie was very slow, lack of investment made movie very boring, songs were dull , poor direction. Vijyendra and Swaroop Sampath are good actors and worked as per their capacity but overall the movie could be a hit but director producer perhaps chose to make it like an art movie. There was not a single instance of comedy and cheerfulness. The mother of Vijyendra was selected as a died face and Priyadarshini was just ok. Perhaps lack of funding and poor direction made the movie a dull otherwise it could be a path breaking movie.

"Wo Lamhe" - The Movie

After the death of Parveen Bobby , Mahesh Bhatt made a movie "Wo Lamhe". It was said that the movie was based on the life of Parveen Bobby a glamorous heroine of 70s and 80s who disappeared suddenly. When she came back, she lost her beauty and confidence as it used to be. After some years, the news of her unnatural death came which shocked her fans and entire film community. She was known as a friend of renowned director producer Mahesh Bhatt. The last rituals were accomplished by Bhatt only which was praised by people. Yes, there was no need to do so by Bhatt but he did without any expectation, name and fame.

However, Wo Lamhe was not based on the life of Parveen. We never heard that Parveen was suffering from any mental disease or anything but yes she was not happy with her life and that's why she disappeared without informing anybody.

Wo Lamhe, right from the beginning of the movie, shows the pain and agony of a heroine and the role was nicely played by Kangana who started her career with mentally shattered woman's role. The movie has a very lose story, the role of Shaad was not effective. May be budget was limited ,otherwise somebody else could be better on this role. Shiney Ahuja impressed with his performance. Overall, people watching the movie got tensed from the beginning of the movie and they did not find any relief or good scenes anywhere in the movie. It seems that the movie was made for Kangana Ranaut only .. and for nobody else.

Couple of songs were good , one was copied from an English song... quite expected from Pritam. Those who could not watch the movie and think to watch... may leave. There is nothing good in the movie... one or two dialogues are good rest is ordinary.

Indo Russian Movie connections

Basically Indians are crazy about America but Americans are not much crazy about India , Indian and their films. But Russians were comparatively crazier for Indian movies. One of the most important links between Indian movies and Russians was Raj Kapoor. He and his movies were very famous in Russia, he touched the heart of Russians in such a way that even President Vladimir Putin is also a fan of Raj Kapoor. When he visited India for the first time, the song "Mera Joota Hai Japani" of Raj Kapoor starred movie " Shree 420 " .

After making the movie " Awara " Raj Kapoor visited Russia (U S S R )and even he could not imagine that he was so famous there. Public would be wild to see a glimpse of him. Seeing the popularity , Raj Kapoor took a "Dhapli" and started to sing "Awara hoon.... Awara hoon" and other songs. He danced also on streets around his fans. Raj Kapoor was so touched from the love of Russians that he thought to initiate a venture with Russians involvement.

He made a movie off late of his heroic career , "Mera Naam Joker" but the movie collapsed, however his love towards Russians never vanished and even Raj Kapoor is still alive in the memories of Russia and Russians. The movie introduced Russian actors and actresses in Hindi movies through a Russian circus. The movie was broadly inspired from a Hollywood classic starring Charlton Haston naming " The Greatest Show on the earth "

After that not much movies of Bollywood were produced with Russians involvement. Off late , in one of the Indian movies " Saat Khoon Maaf" , Suzane married one of a Russians Spy and the song " Darrrrling.. was based on one of the Russian songs " . Now and then , Vishal Bharadwaj , produce and direct movies based on Russian writers.

Russia is a big country and heart of Russians are big. We should make more movies involving Russians to create an atmosphere of harmony between Indians and Russians.

Corsica - Land of Napoleon Bonaparte

I believe Corsica may be one of the most favourite tourist destinations for Indians in the summer of 2016. The beautiful island was not known to Indians and they came to know about this in a Bollywood movie naming TAMASHA released late in 2015. The old beautiful place was nicely shown in the movie. Seeing the movie, it is revealed that the place is still out of much modernism and people can get relaxation.

But do we know - for what Corsica is famous for ???

Corsica is the native place of NAPOLEON BONAPARTE, the great Bonaparte of France !! Napoleon struggled a lot to get Corsica freed out of hands of Pouli of France. He spent his childhood days in Corsica and devoted his younger age to get Corscia free!!

If someone visits the place ... you may see the place of Napoleon and his family... enjoy the trip...
